I'll play along, last post this topic in this thread.
No Knothead, Yes, I've seen sonargrams, including for my own daughter, and no I do not recognize that that fetus is alive or have rights until after it has been born as a stand alone living entity in this world.

Polls are fairly meaningless at this point. Some are of registered voters, some of likely voters. The only thing they all have in common, is they are all done differently. If they aren't all moving double digits, then I doubt they have any relevance.

From Megan McArdle at The Atlantic .....
"On Sarah Palin as a VP I have no particular opinion, except that she doesn't make me any more interested in voting for John McCain. But the people criticizing her are making me considerably less interested in voting for Obama. If this sort of deranged logic produces unwavering support for Obama, I have to question my own judgement."
Some of the reliably left media are starting to understand this. Another Atlantic article by Clive Cook, and then this one from the New Republic:
The Case Against the Case Against Palin - The Plank

In recent history, women and slaves didn't have rights either and if you're a minor your rights are still currently limited.

Interesting that Dem research papers leaked to the Politico contain Sarah Palin's Social Security Number (with the last four X'ed out on the Politico copy). But then, this isn't the first time this has been done by the Democrats.

On polls - If you are obsessed with polls even though they dont mean much at this stage check out pollster.com
Pollster.com: 2008 National Presidential General Election:McCain vs Obama
They are a nonpartisan site which collects results from all of the major polls and uses them to generate trend lines for all of the different contests up this November. Of course, all of these polls are no more than a snapshot of today (at best) and everything could be different tomorrow

You think Dems are the only ones doing opposition research? Puhleez. They all do it.
But the media are doing a lot of the research on Palin now - They havent had anyone new to look at for months. They are probably bored out of their minds listening to all the other candidates make the same old speech again and again and again ..... So they investigate the new kid in the race. This is perfectly normal - it happens to everyone who runs for Prez or VP - And it is probably useful because whoever wins needs to be able to deal with 24/7 microscopic scrutiny.

No sck5, I have no problem with doing research. Now, would you care to tell me why, in violation of privacy laws, the Dems have Palin's SS#. Which, coincidently, was what my post was about.
