Serenity...yup...my 10 years was an optimistic estimate of what it could take HERE if expedited and if we used a "cookie cutter" design...rather than the 20 years it takes here now! No question it COULD be done in half that time if there were NO roadblocks...just didn't think that was realistic!

Yet another conundrum I find in this silly season. While it's alright for a black to vote for a black, if a white votes for a white, it's racism.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying there isn't racism in this country (or any other, in reality), but I do wonder how you achieve racial harmony when one side is allowed to be racist, and the other is condemned for it.

Oddly enough, it's the Dems that keep bringing up race, going so far as to saying Obama losing will be for no other reason than race.

Well, the Dems finally passed a bill allowing drilling ..... as long as it's where no is going to drill, keeping the ban in place on those areas with proven reserves. A fact you won't see mentioned in many articles about it.

I think they may have a valid point. First, let me say that I agree with Hillary Clinton in that I don't think Obama can win this election. Racism runs too deep in Pa and Ohio. The polls say he's going to lose the south as do all Democratic candidates, so the simple math says he needs one of these two states to win.

He won't get them, and racism is a key reason.

I have no doubt that his lack of experience, far-left ideas, and other doubts about his associations and actions will have no part in anybody voting against him.

Cute, hogwash as you so blithely put it, but cute. Ya ?know though, since you're the big financial guru, maybe you can answer the question no one else has. If it's bad to raise taxes in a bad economy, why is it good to raise them in a good economy?

Good God John, don't you know that raising taxes in a good economy slows growth which prevents inflation and builds a national reserve of money that can be thrown at the soon to be unemployed after the goverment takes its 99 percent off the top to pay for itself, of course.

preventing inflation at any cost, the democratic party way.

But Chuck, that can't be the answer, it doesn't fit on a bumper sticker.
