I just thought of a good reason to tax the rich. Then we can really have a recession so nobody will have to argue if we have one or not.

Legitimate investigation? Makes one wonder if there are any limits to how far Obama backers will go. We've seen leftist blogs post totally false rumors, complete fabrications, publishing of private info, and hacking. Seems the only thing they haven't tried yet is assaination.

I was all set to vote for Obama, but he lost me when he called me a stupid Rep and then went on for half an hour trying to defend tire pressure. He had to prove he was right on keeping the tires pumped up. Yeh, so what, It is so much bigger than that.

Now anyone who understands the foreclosure process realizes that almost all of these folks are still in their homes. The Republicans need Michigan and are stooping to new lows to get it.

Who in this thread supports these underhanded and illegal tactics? You know, between what they've done to the economy and now this, doesn't this make you proud to be a republican?

The Michigan Democratic Party and the Obama campaign just finished a conference call announcing that they will sue the Republican Party over this.

Thank God somebody is watching out for Americans.
You're touting the Michigan Democrat party? The same party that disenfranchised all of it's voters? Or are you just upset that the Reps are going to play the same type of games the Dems are noted for when it comes to the voting rolls?

Obama is going to lose this election because he has proved himself to be nothing more than the same old craven politician we have a surplus of in DC right now. He was a horse's patoot for not picking Hillary as a running mate.

I worked for a gal, a black gal, who said she is now voting for McCain because Obama did not pick Hillary for veep. I did not think such people existed but meeting her proved me wrong.

Rick's assertion on racism is a bit premature. Let's wait until he loses before we assign racism as the cause. We know that will be the cause, right? Of course if he wins, it will only because he was able to transcend the inherently racist American population, right? Rick's, and other's, assertions are baseless and do not allow for the typical Democrat obtuseness. They fail to allow for the fact that it's quite possible that the American people have heard their message loud and clear, and regardless of race, they've pronounced it spinach. Liberal Dem's have spent the last fifty years claiming to be misunderstood by the American people. They're right in that there is a misunderstanding-they're just wrong on who's doing the misunderstanding. The Dem's never miss an opportunity to misunderstand the American electorate. And assigning racism beforehand is just the type of liberal elitist statement that gets Americans to vote Republican. Call a man an idiot or a racist and what expectation do you have that this will dendear him to you and vote for you? Yet that's what the Dem's do, year in and year out.

The national debt, is almost $9.5 trillion, the highest level in U.S. history, according to the Treasury Department, thanks to you Republicans.

We need to get back to responsible government and that definately is not Republican policy.

It's Republican policy to run the deficit up and pass it off to the next Democratic administration... and then blame them for it.

First Reagan and now Bush..look it up.

You're still repeating the mantra of a failed economic policy. So much for trickle down (Voodo) economics. Even the guy who created the Reagan budget has now repudiated the policy.

Today it's even worse. Apparently while you weren't looking somebody decimated the middle class in this country, so just whom do you feel is going to pay this debt, if not the rich?

I can't wait to hear this...

Show me the article about the Michigan Dems playing this game in THIS election cycle as I must have missed it.
