While many were quick to cry "political stunt" to McCain suspending campaigning, and it does have the appearance of one, it is, none-the-less, completely in accord with his message of putting politics aside, working together, and putting the country first. I have a feeling that it will go over much better with undecided voters than the scoffers realize.

I can't say it's exciting, but I get a feeling it will go a long way towards determining the direction we go for the next 50 years. And I think the current financial mess, for those paying attention at all, should be a big wake up call that Washington is broken and needs fixed.

Clinton is on every channel killing Barry with faint praise.
No need for Barry to suspend his campaign. He's a three year Senator. Until recently a first term Senator wasn't allowed the floor. When the grownups hash out a bill Harry Reid will call him and tell him which way to vote.
Reid told Lieberman that he has to have McCain support to get it passed.
