While many were quick to cry "political stunt" to McCain suspending campaigning, and it does have the appearance of one, it is, none-the-less, completely in accord with his message of putting politics aside, working together, and putting the country first. I have a feeling that it will go over much better with undecided voters than the scoffers realize.

Well, for those expecting "change", the Dems Stop Gap Funding Bill, loaded with pork and other unnecessary spending, hangs out the "business as usual" sign in Washington.

I can't say it's exciting, but I get a feeling it will go a long way towards determining the direction we go for the next 50 years. And I think the current financial mess, for those paying attention at all, should be a big wake up call that Washington is broken and needs fixed.

Clinton is on every channel killing Barry with faint praise.
No need for Barry to suspend his campaign. He's a three year Senator. Until recently a first term Senator wasn't allowed the floor. When the grownups hash out a bill Harry Reid will call him and tell him which way to vote.

Depends on perspective. Redlining is good for solvency, but not good for buyin......... er, getting, votes.
