Mr. George Will on the topic of term limits and Mr. Michael Bloomburg's efforts to repeal them so as to continue his enlightened leadership of the ship NYC. Those in favor of, "none of the above" and, "throw the bums out" may well find the reading not only educational from a civics standpoint but fairly hysterical as well.

The poll numbers make it look like the Democrats have this thing wrapped up. It will be interesting to see what the final tally is when the results are in. Not much longer to wait, few more weeks!

I have a feeling, no matter who wins, it will end up being one and done. I don't see any way that the economy will bounce back soon enough to make it otherwise. And if it's all Dems, you can expect some really big changes. If you thought Carter was a good president, then you'll probably love Obama.

Some things you can expect ...
The end of talk radio (which will close about half the AM stations in the country)
The end of the secret ballot in Union organizing elections (Return of the Thugs).
Expansion of the Davis-Bacon wage formula
Expansion of the already dysfunctional public school system.
Increased regulation.
Higher taxes and prices to offset them.
Higher gas prices.
Increased government ownership of private business.
More bailouts (which party do you think got all the Wall St money this time?)

That's just a few of the changes you can look forward to.

Gee Joel, why didn't we see the middle fingers and swearing at him like the other video? I would hate to see what would happen to a lone cameraman at an Obama rally. I think he may have been "loved" to death.

It's not particularly rational but it's real and, more importantly, it fits with past events and their results. The only good news is that now the government is really broke.
True...Thanks mostly to your buddies running this country....right into the ground...

Anybody read CNN this morning?

A very ticked off Ed Rollins (served as political director for President Reagan) explaining why McCain is losing this election.

Commentary: McCain campaign following in Hillary's footsteps - CNN.com

I wish they never interviewed the guy. As long as Republicans use the Rush Whatshisname attack strategy, they are finished.... if they listen to rollins, it may be a new ballgame.

Carter was one of the smartest presidents we've had. He was also one of the worse Presidents we've had, although George W is making him look better every day.

Nope... just force owners of multiple media markets to sell stations. What's wrong with this one John? Does Murdock have you on his payroll? I remember a time when you drove down I95 from town to town and could listen to different talk radio shows. Today, no matter where you are, it's all the same stuff. I welcome the change.

So, in your world, we don't pay back the $10 Trillion we owe? We don't fund Social Security? The government needs more income. Considering that he single handedly doubled our National Debt... some people have actually learned what Bush's tax cuts have done to us all. Not John...but some people.

I love this one. Republicans are running around in the last month Nationalizing everything in sight. You think Chris Dodd is using George Bush as a puppet? Oh.. I get it...what happened last week is covered by the "Obama made me do it" fringe of the Republican Party. Or was it possible that Hank Paulson changed parties without telling anyone?

Really John.... This is just a patent lie.

Ummm...OK, I'll bite. Show me a Democrat on Wall St. that got bailed out. These were Republicans bailing out Republicans.

Looking back at the last Eight Years, I can't wait for the changes. It's looking like Republicans will lose as many as 10 senate seats and at least 50 seats in the House. Regardless of who wins the Presidency, it will be a new world.

Wth the polls that came out today, the race looks like it is over. Obama has either an 8 or 9 point lead.
