Finally, some info on Professor Khalidi, another associate that we aren't suppose to question. Power Line - Worse Than Ayers and Wright?

US27- thanks for posting a link to the audio of Obama detailing how he plans to redistrubute our wealth. Interesting that this is from 01 and he hasn't made this a major part of his campaign, because he obviously plans to do it! People are voting for someone that they don't even know. Scary.

Amazing though it may seem to those of us who pay attention, there are quite a few who dont have the slightest idea about the two candidates who are running for President. And if they ARE paying attention and can't make up their minds then they are either morons or so ignorant they have no idea what the differences between the candidates actually mean.
Though we may differ on who we like I imagine we can agree on this - This election presents a clear choice. The two candidates are quite different and would take the country in quite different directions. I think this is a good thing - A clear choice helps make for a clear mandate for whoever wins.
Oh, some of them know. They count on it to get their share of what's available. He gets 95% of the people on his side by taking only from 5%.
That's how democracy works once it gets corrupted by populist re distributors. What he forgets is the 5% are free to leave the country and take their toys with them, or opt to make less for a couple years and trash his plans.
What he also forgets is when you tax the rich, they are in charge and just raise the prices to offset their loss of income.

Well spoken, we agree. The choice's couldn't be more polarizing even tho to an extent they both say the same thing on some issues, even then how they will approach the issue is still as different as the desired end result.
This fellow is predicting that the press is going to go after the citizen that dug that audio information up, rather than do follow up reporting on Obama's view on redistributing wealth.
Thats called politics. The repubs have been promising EVERYONE a tax break for years (and still are). They just got outmaneuvered by Obama who is promising (as you say) all but 5% a tax break. That works because a lot of voters are pissed off at the rich people and the rich people never vote for Dems anyway. It isnt really a very different strategy than what the repubs have always done. Its just modified a bit for the Dem electorate as opposed to the republican electorate.
Nah, Ray, the press won't go after the guy who found that because in doing so they would have to present the audio to the public as well.
Besides, he's already said he intends to redistribute wealth - all this audio does is show who he intends to redistribute it to " the formerly dispossessed", i.e., blacks and minorities who should get reparations relief for their suffering and hardships (he said reparative, same deal).
I'm suing Italy, my german ancestors were taken as slaves and held there and forced to work from romans. Compound interest and all that, I'll be rich.
