Hate to say it - but you fact checkers unite. We are overdue for the " green knoll" scenario again..

All I know is that McCain is not a leader anymore and we really need a leader right now if you haven't noticed. Obama hasn't sold his soul yet...he's smart and he is not jaded and out of touch with the people like alot of people in here and like McCain is now. McCain sold out after 2000 when he almost became a democrat but decided against it in the last minute after figuring he's paid his dues and he could handle the humiliation of South Carolina if he would be "next in line" for the Repub's. He decided to tow the party line and kiss Bush's ass...then he kissed Falwell's arse so he could repair damage from his remarks about the far right during the 2000 campaign. He is like Colin Powell now..he is a patriot and a good guy but having sold his soul he has no real message. He's old as hell and it's too bad that the Bush smear machine did what they did to him in South Carolina beacuse his time was in 2000...not now...it's sad but true if you guys want to vote for the old dinosaur go ahead but he's farting dust at this point in his career and he has lost his soul...just playing along with the republican line doesn't make him worthy of the WH...

lesser of two evils. He's proven himself with acts of self sacrifice for his country. Obama has proven that he's always looking for another opportunity to use people to get more power.

Hey the guy's a war hero and a patriot...absolutely...but I don't want any more Shakespearean tragedies for our country . He's too old..his VP choice was reckless..he has at least 3 more houses than anyone in their right mind should own and he seems contrived..his time was in 2000 but the Bush war machine mowed him down..he could have left it alone but his famous anger this time morphed and metastisized into something else...something he wasn't before...he is not the same guy we knew before SC...

Obama's take the day off work to vote nonsense.

I put a calculator to this. If all of Obama's supporters do what he says and take the day off work, what would be the impact to our economy?

191,000,000 taxpayers in this country. The median income per household in the US is 50,233 so if we figure that every household has 2 income earners (they don't but for arguments sake) and half of them took the day off. The lost wages for Obama day would add up to approximately $9,480,285,000. Talk about good for the economy. Even better, the employers would lose many times what the employees make. If my employees took the day off it would cost me almost $3000 for the day, and I have a VERY small business. Then I would have to spend more money to recruit new employees after I fired them.

First Obama speaks of "spreading the wealth" in 2008. Then we learn, he had the same idea in '01, and now, we find out he sought out left wing, radical types in college. And oh, about that "Ayres is just a guy in my neighborhood" thing. Seems Obama shoveled a whole lot of money his way.
