I am not really a taker on most of these "polls" - everyone is "Obama" and the anonymous factor of most online polls, one never knows how many times people are multiple voting that is inflating it. The newest straw poll on aol is a sign in type (username / password). I think it weeds out most of the anonymous multiple entry votes.

Interesting enough - it shows McCain in the lead - quite handily I think:

They're Getting Down to the Wire

And correlates what we see here on our own poll on Sailnet.

You mean like the bogus MSNBC poll after the first debate, where 80% of those who thought Obama won weren't US citizens?

Do you have any evidence that anyone is watching MSNBC except close family of MSNBC employees?

What you tell a poll taker when they shove a mike and camera in your face is often quite different from what you do behind the curtain.

I still have hope, though not Nobama's hope.

SCK, I'm real glad the party of tolerance and unity will open the dictionary and discover what tolerance and unity is, on Wednesday Nov 5th. They sure don't know diddly squat now. Maybe they (democrats) will learn to speak with actions instead of ideas.
From what I hear from you and others:

They think 90% is greater than 97%

(Keep in mind, if you take out silly 'commendatory' votes, McCain's against party percentage is actually over 40% of the time, on real issues that Obama doesn't bother to vote on).

They think emotions outweigh clear headed thought.

They think 'excitement' is a reason to vote for them.

They think asking hard questions and expecting truth in response is grounds for a public trashing.

They think actively cutting off media outlets that say anything negative is 'openess' and fair.

They think, well crap, no they don't think, they just flock like lemmings.
They think only minorities can have the race card pulled on them.

Correlates? Don't give up your day job as your career as a Pollster is extremely limited. Nov 4 will be a landslide in electorial votes. As of this morning, Obama will be in the mid 300's on Nov 4th. Incidently, Arizona just got moved to the toss up column. At this point, it doesn't look like McCain can carry his own state.

Stephens was convicted and McConnell is suddenly in real race, which means Dems have a legitimate shot at 60 in the Senate. While I'm trashing your fantasies, let me say that there is no Santa Clause or Easter Bunny either. But look at the bright side, as you 'Sailnet conservatives' will have this thread all to yourselves Nov 5.

Republicans are toast this election cycle, unfortunately not soon enough.

Wow Ricky, even for you that's harsh. Glad to see you belong to the party of unity and tolerance.

Even CNN - hardly a unbiased network shows the numbers a little right of your source - and they admitted using 'ad spending' as a factor, because of course ad spending directly correlates to votes behind the curtain.
CNN Electoral Map Calculator - Election Center 2008 from CNN.com

Maybe it's just that math thing of yours again, we know you have a problem.

BTW, Trashing ArtbyJody as a conservative is par on course for your accuracy, he's a democrat

Chuck

Can I be a lemming at the same time I am a socialist? Maybe you dont like my reasons for supporting Obama but that doesnt mean I dont have any. And I am not alone. When most people support him maybe there is something about him that you are missing - If you are getting your information about Obama from McCain then there is no doubt you are missing something.

but thanks for at least refraining from calling democrats communists as some have taken to doing on this site. Shades of Joe McCarthy!!!!!!! People sure do get bent out of shape when it looks like their side will lose. I imagine they will calm down when it turns out the Dems really arent Commies at all. Or maybe not.
