Yes, the people ultimately made their choice. What I was wondering was if an application was submitted with Obama's history, but the names changed, I wonder if any of those "embarrassments" would disqualify him for a staff position.

More er, nutty, behavior from ACORN:

ACORN fires 2 who were probing embezzlement allegations - CNN.com

First, to investigate embezzlement they form a committee, then when the committee asks to see the accounting books tell them no.
Then when the committee sues to see the books, fire them and tell the world the committee established to investigate embezzlement had no authority to actually look for, or find said embezzlement.

Nuts indeed.

"ya gotta love when even the catholic bishops won't have any more to do with ya.
How sad do you have to be for THAT to happen, eh?"

You just have to be pro choice. Most people qualify.

So Sck, you reckon the stated reasoning of the embezzlement scandal had nothing to do with the Catholic Church Human Development folks pulling their funding and support; to wit you think the CCHD suddenly figured out ACORN was pro-choice and withdrew support for that reason?

gotta wipe the sarcasm off my keyboard, back in a second.

Hey guys. Election is over. All this Obama trashing is silly - Nothing any of you have said in the past bunch of posts is news. It was out before the election and you know what?

He got elected ANYWAY.

You seem to imagine there is some smoking gun somewhere and that if people only knew the TRUTH then he would be toast.

In reality, nobody really wants to hear that kind of trash. There isnt a one of us who isnt somehow "linked" to someone with a questionable past. Jeez, I even hang out on sailnet and in my off time talk to SAILORS some of whom seem to be DRUNK and who may or may not always follow the letter of the law in every respect. I even know somebody who was in JAIL once! The guy I bought my house from 15 years ago was later revealed to be a DRUG DEALER!!!!!! So I am "linked" to him just like Obama is linked to Rezko!

And as for Obama not being an American? Sarah Palin herself clearly said that neither he nor several million others are "real Americans". Apparently "real" to her means something other than what it means to most of us. Get a life!!! You are stuck with him as Prez for 4 years. If you dont like it you can try to get him kicked out then.

Believe me, I know exactly how you feel right around now. But you are still "real Americans" in MY book. Even if you do have questionable links to some of the people on that Sailnet place. Like that liberal sck5 who is linked to a drug dealer.

chuck you are right about that in post 5348 - I was just referring to the low bar that generally applies to the bishops getting mad at you. I am married to a "recovering Catholic" who has some strong opinions about "child molesting old men" deciding how she should live her life. I should have read more carefully before jerking my knee.

damn SCK, knee jerking is expected here...

As to the Nobama bashing...welcome to incumbent bashing. Your man is now going to be the subject of bashing for the next 4 or 8 years, and probably a life time after he gets out of office. Heck, we bash everyone here - and incumbents even more than others.

yeah, bashing goes with the territory. it will be more interesting when he actually DOES something to bash him about. He has been pretty quiet since the election. nothing much to grab on to for either side yet.

its all Obamas Fault!

I'm just practicing.
I have heard that arugula produces more methane than iceberg lettuce, you may be on to something.

That's explains the recent uptake in global temp's (more yuppie arugula eaters) and smelly farts.

Let me see, Bush, gas 4.14 a gallon, Obama gets elected, gas 1.91 a gallon - damn it, how's a Exxon stock holder going to make a buck?
As to barnacles, I hauled my boat last week on Tuesday, one week to the DAY that Obama got elected; and buddy I got barnacles.

Hillary's the white one with the great big thighs. You're welcome. No need to thank me. It just took a couple of seconds to look it up on wikipedia...
