It's okay, she only alternated colors on the M&M's to ensure she distributed them equally.

I think she favored the ones with nuts tho.

Obama's people have announced that they intend to meet with John McCain to discuss matters of mutual interest.

What matters might those be? Here's my guess. Comprehensive immigration reform. 'Notherwords, let all the illegals stay. Pass some more goofy laws we won't enforce. He needs J-Mac's help with that.

I'm really excited about them doing this as I've been very concerned about jobs Americans won't do, even during a recession. Of course those guys who are out of work and can't pay their extravagant mortgage and aren't looking for work waiting on the government to bail them out, might have a point. The gummint is giving money to people it doesn't even know right now so, who knows what might fly?

This will be interesting.

There's little doubt that the new Obama administration wants to shut down the prison facility, Camp Delta, at Gitmo. To their supporters this is a no-brainer. Just wave your hand and call it done. Which attitude ignores the fact that there are some seriously un-nice people within Camp Delta's confines. What are we going to do with them?

"What are we going to do with them?"

Put them on trial. If they are guilty they will be convicted. Thats the way we do it in America.

Well, we can keep Gitmo, and keep the terrorist pow's where they belong

or

Release them, if they end up back on the line, then kill them on the spot, also, instead of any future captives, whether they are known to be terrorist or whether they're just suspected terrorist, kill them on the spot, we don't need to load up our court system with this kind of liberal feel good BS and besides, as a tax payer, I can't afford to feed, clothe or house them, nor do I want to

Put them on trial for what? US law applies in the US. Any "crimes" they've committed occurred outside the US. How do US courts have jurisdiction? where do you propose to send them when Club Gitmo lights the No Vacancy sign?

See, I told you it was a no-brainer for the true believers in the Obama camp. You probably didn't realize that I was being literal though! (g)

Ya might as well let them go, the ACLU & CAIR would be all over this, I serously doubt that any of them were mirandized, so all would walk anyhow under civil law.

It would be cheaper and easier to let the go, follow them home then spend $4.75 to end it all, beats the Millions of dollars we'd spend on bogus trials only to have to let them go in the end.

Lets face it, if they're still in Gitmo , they are still a threat

Hehehe!
When you're finally a Democrat in power life becomes inestimably more difficult. It one thing to campaign in front of Detroit's UAW workers one day while chewing the oats with the greenies the next day, all in pursuit of money and votes. But somewhere after the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November you'll be called to try and reconcile that those two groups, and many others, don't have much in common. Say what you will about the nexus of Republican hawks and the religious right. They look positively familial when compared to your garden variety granola cruncher contemplating his stamping press co-equal. If you're Nancy Pelosi you've a tough time keeping one half of your contingent from taking a weed wacker to the other half's canapes. Just another day in the diversity trenches, I suppose.

Complicating all of this is that dullard Bush who seems to have no sense of the worth of his legacy. The guy just sits in the White House sticking to his guns. By this point in time, Bill Clinton would have been out on the line building cars himself, in psychosomatic pain with that stamping press operator. He did have the common touch, and he certainly had trolled worse areas that the assembly line. Madame Pelosi, along with the estimable Harry Reid, will not find life so easy. They've got to revitalize the automobile industry while not passing gas. Rather, those autos need not pass gas, if the green troops have a say. And that damn Bush won't take a position so that they can spilt the difference while seemingly supporting both sides. The crown already weighs heavy on the brow of leadership and change.

The WSJ explains why a religious gun-toting fanatic is a more amenable ally than the average Democrat voter and foresees a plague on the houses Reid and Pelosi. From where I'm sitting it sure looks like it hurts. Couldn't happen to a nicer group of hypocrites, er, congressmen.
