Just what we need. Another liberal Republican(which party is he in this week?) with the mental stability of a Ross Perot.

The problem with the wack-job is he'd be identified as a Republican. We've already got a couple of RINO's running now. Fortunately, I think the fellow is just an attention seeker and, if his Streisand tickets come through, he'll be unavailable to run that day. (g)

Caroline Kennedy

Caroline Kennedy spouting the drivel that gave us the Clinton's and the most self-absorbed generation in western history. The article is the finest example of educated idiocy I've read in years. It will, no doubt, play well with aspiring high school commencement speakers.

Why I like Fred Thompson

Fred-heads,
Here's a great article on Thompson and his nascent campaign. Enjoy.

I do not know about that - didn't the last time this occurred, the votes went to the Republicans...

As it stands now ,on The Democratic side basically only two contenders Hillary and Obama (face it Edwards is out and when he quits - he will not give his endorsement to Obama after that slap in the face Kerry did to him (by endorsing Obama))..

So the Democratic supporters are faced with Obama that has no substantial political experience or Hillary...which is history already written....

If he was to join the race - I tend to think he would be more detrimental to influencing the swing of votes away from the Democratic party....

Bloomberg, Clinton and Obama will never pass muster with the NRA who have a pretty strong voting block.

On a lighter note, the paper had a fluff piece this morning about pets. Wyoming favors dogs. I think it was Maine favors cats. Geez, red state/blue states can't even agree on their pets.
