sck5-you are not a liberal or democrat, you are just anti republican. Southerwind is quite an orator, but I would like to hear your side of the story. Do you have any justification for your points? I have to say the Rush piece sounds like fanatics, but I have to agree with him; I don't want to live in a socialized america.
Picking individual people out and criticizing them doesn't go very far. It's the policies that are being made that are the real problem. Punishing people for making money by growing their business has never worked to prosper a country. Jealously causes people to try to take what others have earned but it's to their own detriment. My wife's mother is a mexican. Last time I was at a family thing, she said "I voted for obama because I think it's time for all those rich people to suffer"
I thought what an idiot to buy into that. I told her the rich are who employ her, if they suffer you suffer worse.
There has to be government regulation of business. With out it you have no human rights because corporation are profit driven, NOTHING else matters to them. BUT, the government regulation must reward people and corporations for doing the right thing not just threaten them and try forcing them into compliance.

at the same time you cant regulate a industry or company to the point that China starts looking good. But that is what is happening thanks to Peta,ACLU, the auto unions and aircraft unions, they don't care what happens to the company and cant figure out the union don't mean squat when the company goes over seas and there isn't a paycheck anymore. I spend part of my time in a town with a strong union force and refuse to work for them cause they spend more time lay'd off than working all the while thinking the union is doing them a favor.
It all boils down to individual greed to me, Everyone wants his or her individual agenda to be the most important thing on the table. That's how the ACLU works and idiot groups like Peta as well but they wind up hurting everyone in the process.
By the way it was the ACLU that sued the clinton administration in 98 because underprivilaged people couldnt afford houses...
