Now that Obama has effectively nationalized GM, one has to wonder who will be next. And how many investors do you think are going to join in Geithner's Bank Bailout plan now? A plan based on private participation to succeed.

But hey, at least Bambi now has his trophy to show he's tough on CEO's .... as long as they aren't one's who helped tank the economy.

An article about Chicago style politics in the White House.

"Don't think we're not keeping score, brother." That's what President Barack Obama said to Rep. Peter DeFazio in a closed-door meeting of the House Democratic Caucus last week, according to the Associated Press.

Now that government has the right to fire incompetent folks who don't meet the nation's objectives, why not expand their influence to other areas:

Annie calls it square. And with great bombastic humour as well. If she didn't exist, we'd have to invent her.

Ok, let me think this out.
We should impeach the president, throw out our congress folks.....etc.

But we should reward UTTER failure by letting Charles Manson run the peace corps.

I get it. Thanks.........what did we think we were doing? Actually putting some rules and regulations into place in order to attempt and save American industry? What fools we are!

We should make certain that all the Wall Street heads get back into the top positions too.

You could not invent her. I'm met lots of people like her, but frankly they were all male. And I could only listen to them for about 30 seconds.

Is that as opposed to Texas politics?

To quote the great GW "I'll never get out-christianed or out-texaned again"....and, to give credit where due, he never did........

Last time I looked, Texas was not leading the country in much except executions, chemicals and gun ownership. Well, that is besides the trailer trash and cheerleader-shooting moms, Janis Joplin, etc.

Well, tell you the truth, I like Stevie Ray Vaughn and actually bowed next to his statue in Austin.

Really - don't you get tired of reading the wingnut news? It would be so boring just to run my mind over that crap. Judge a man or a person or a group on it's merits when you have enough experience.

So very "school boy" - but I guess whoever once said we never grow up had a point.

Honestly, I never voted for GW.....BUT, when he first got into office I gave it a year or two before I made a judgment. Even then....my judgment was that he sucked, but would provide at least a bit of humor (could not speak or act, etc.).....well, turned out I was wrong. But I did give him at least a chance.....to be mediocre or even better.

Time to think for yourself....
