The really hard part is explaining that NOW he gets all his reliable information from The National Enquirer. Now. After he has trashed Fox News, unreliable bloggers, and probably some others.
The National Enquirer. Two headed aliens, lizards born to movie stars, dogs who work out quadratic equations, and the real scoop on President Bush. Oh yeah.

Sigh...sck it is called the LAW. And he points out that in the event of actual proof of innocence it is the EXECUTIVE Branch that is responsible for granting clemency or a pardon. Duh.

i know cam. that was one of my points. scalia says the law doesnt REQUIRE the new evidence of innocence to be considered. But it the law does in fact
ALLOW it. In my opinion morality DEMANDS it if we KNOW somebody is innocent. If it is allowed, why on earth would you not do it? (unless you were a cold hearted, uncaring conservative )

It's only wishful thinking, but certainly possible.
Haven't you always found that truth is something more fantastic than anything you can make up? BTW, the Enquirer did accurately break the Edwards love child story as well as a lot of other such dirt. At least we know they are not owned by Murdock.
Now that many "news" outlets are competing for that "Jerry Springer" segment that the Enquirer held my itself - it's good to look at the "old standard" once in a while.
In other news, John and Kate plus 8 are falling apart......

Truth be told, we have not bought one for decades....BUT
The first mate has developed a bit of a fascination with the Palin white trash stuff, and she actually does purchase one once in a while....BUT, she did not buy the GW is mentally ill issue. I was alone at the time, and again to be honest, in Wal-Mart.
In this day and age of taking ourselves too seriously, I'll bet that paper is doing well. A bit of an escape from "reality".
Reality, IMHO, is highly overrated, and that is probably why a lot of you sail. I took the first mate out a couple times this week - and she usually has her mind on other things - and after sailing I said "see, you didn't think about anything else, did you?".
(I added "you were too busy thinking about our survival")
