Chuckles, no offense taken, in fact I laughed...the Kerry thing is because I am originally from New Hampshire, and met him in a comedy club in Boston, he was ok then, but a bit pompous when running for office, that bothered me, but I do really like the guy, he's gutsy... and like him, I was a sailor, you gotta defend your ship mates (and no jokes about ship mates) heard them all. I liked Dole, too, but after he ran for office, while he was running he was way to stiff for my liking. as for W, well, I ain't the shapest stick, but I won't vote for anyone whose college boards were lower than mine... and mine were only good enough to get into a state school

Ok, here's a serious " why liberals suck "
Libs and the ACLU worked hard to get Gitmo closed, BHO signed the order with no idea were they would go. I heard a SuperMax prison in Colorado was high on the list but, the spokesperson for the ACLU has now come out and said that Colorado was worse than Gitmo because the SuperMax runs a 23/1 program and Gitmo ran a 22/2.
So, I guess the plan is to just cut them loose

Didn't GWB graduate higher in school (Yale) than J. F'ing Kerry??? The J. F'ing Kerry who went over his commanders head, twice, to get purple hearts for wounds that he did not get in battle? Who lied about going into Cambodia? Who called the US soldiers on the ground in Iraq terrorists. Who called all the soldiers in Viet Nam war criminals? Who looked like Elmer Fudd when he went duck hunting in Ohio during his failed campaign?

pappy - he hasn't closed anything yet. Only said he would in a year. Signing an executive order that doesn't take effect for a year is just symbolic. And now that he's made the symbolic gesture, doesn't matter to anyone whether he actually closes it down now or not. 'Cause he's done the RIGHT THING.

I don't know, did he? I kind of doubt it. You must have good information from some source with excellant creds...my source is only first hand experience. I just know I met kerry and liked him, that's all, and Oh, yeah, and that my boards were higher than W's. I don't know about kerry's, didn't ask him. He did much better than me marrying into the heinz family, that should show enough smarts to get elected right there. now smile
