I honestly don't know what you are getting at. When you campaign in politics, you talk to as many people as you can, from bible thumpers to CEO's to talk show hosts. I don't consider that something nefarious, no.

Basically, your point makes no point. It would be like me judging a rock star by everyone who was in the audience or by the other bands that played that venue.

I don't attend netroots meetings.
I don't read the Daily Kos
I don't listen to entertaining talking heads and let them decide what is news.
