....I dont have any money left...seems like the bankers took it and ran with it with their golden parachutes while George W and Dick Chaney were "guarding" our interests. Banks declaring bankrupcies and being taken over giving 600 executives bonuses totaling billions three days before the take over. Whats with that. SEC under Dubyah allows biggest Ponzi scheme in US History. Maybe the predator should have been aiming at Enron, Bear Sterns, Lehman, AIG, Fanny Mae and Bank of America.

Thankfully for Dick Chaney he can now limp back to Halburton where he came from with open arms where their stock is continually rising thanks to all the US taxpayer money infused into the company from the Iraq war.

Why did Bush in his final interview still think he handled the Katrina disaster well. He had a felon in charge of FEMA and his plane just circled the disaster...never even landed there. Shades of 911 where he ran scared to an Air Force Base in Colorado. Thats real leadership. And where are the Weapons of Mass destruction George W and Chaney lied about and almost ruined Colin Powellls reputation as he stood up at the UN and repeated their purposefull misrepresentations. Wasnt it Dick Chaneys chief of Staff Scoooter Libby who outed the CIA operative when her husband published the real truth. Ahh and then George W pardoned him after he was convicted. Thats enforcing the law?


The worse Obama could do is keep the stautus quo for the next 8 years and we are no worse off. Most of our hopes are he is better than that. I will take a man who didnt pay his taxes but eventually did,from one who "cheats" the taxpayers by sucking assets out of companies and then bankrupting them or one who scams billions with an eleborate Ponzi scheme while his buddies in government who are supposed to regulate him are playing golf and polo with him.

I work on Capitol Hill and they are all "slick" pandering to special interests. Its only fair that the Dem get a change to feed at the golden trough like the Republicans did the last 8 years. Who knows some of them might actually be different and change things.

And you even imagine electing Mccain (not a bad man) knowing that that idiot Palin was one heartbeat fromt the presidency. Talk about being not qualified. Remember she knows the Russians....she lives acccross the Beiring Strait from them. (She must have watched the Deadliest Catch to realize that)

At least Obama won convincingly and didnt have to get his brother from Florida to steal the election even though he didnt win the popular vote. If the majority of us have chosen wrong,shme on us. We have suffered with an administration who was not even chosen by the majority of us.

At the very least we have walked the talk to the rest of the world for what we stand for and elected a qualified person of a minority. We finally have reached a turning point in the country and for one I am proud of us for doing it.

Give the man a chance for a few weeks at least.

If you work on Capitol Hill then there's really very little reason that you could not take the occasional glance at one of DC's major newspapers. They usually get the facts mostly correct and you'd be saved the ignominy of posting such things as the above potential Oliver Stone screenplay.

With the exception of the war on terror Bush was a pretty pathetic president. (We are still safe after all.) What you libs fail to mention is what made him pathetic was his trying to reach out to your side.
