When asked about the lobbyist he has appointed to his staff, I find it comical how he can just say "we have set higher standards" for lobbyist in my administration and we are to except it.
Well, at least Obama didn't let that little emergency in Western Kentucky interrupt his Super Bowl party. Make up your own headline if it had been Bush.

Anyone catching the irony in the fact that Daschle was not a lobbyist? Lobbyists must register with the government and, as a result, of the characters in Washington, DC they are perhaps the most transparent in their activities.

Yep, he only worked for a lobbying firm. He wasn't a registered lobbyist. You know, like someone who would talk with the guys he used to work with or anything.
