What I observe from this is that a conservative goes to a left leaning site and finds "they don't tolerate dissent" but a liberal comes here and finds "most are not intolerant".

I think that pretty well sums up a huge reason for the divisiveness found today...intolerance by the left.

Thank you both for your observations.

yee ha! godless, heathen communist AND intolerant!!! But I draw the line at Sway's comment that I see debate as "pornography". Like some judge said back in the day about porn "I know it when I see it". Until the mods start letting naked flesh into the threads, this aint it.

It appears to me that a trip to the wooden boat forum is in order. Picture a group of left leaning "intolerant of dissent" at wooden boat being faced with the group from this forum.

I hesitated to post this thread for fear of that outcome. Won't it end the universe? Matter and antimatter collide? I watched Star Trek.
All right, go get them. Just don't tell them where you came from, I don't want them over here. And I warn you that any dissent from the New World Order will be dismissed as ignorance.

Oh, by the way, not all woodenboat owners are liberal dreamers. I'm romantic about boats, women, and the sea. But in real life, I'm a veteran, a policeman, and a Conservative Party Committeeman.

WS,

Someone just walked by my office and asked what I was laughing so hard about.

Too funny, but you would have to admit it would be interesting.

LOL, thanks guys.
Love keeping it light.
Paul, maybe we'll kill someone next time, though I think a jetski is the right implement for that.....
