not in my name....

The most disgusting episode in the history of modern Scottish justice....

BBC Scotland Player

****Sorry guys... for some reason the link does not show a picture when I post it here. I will check again for a link that works***

An American forensicist blew a hole right through the "perjury" case, and before that, a young man went to jail for life, again on another clearly erroreous print.

The young police officer would not perjure herself in order to admit perjury, and fought these ghouls to a standstill. Today, this noble woman is battle-scarred and exhausted.

Sweet Jesus there guys, look at how dissimilar those prints were (about 1/4 way through).

The jury took less than an hour to throw it out.

Clear evidence of criminality, set-up, and print-cropping from those I used to trust.

A public enquiry is in progress as we speak. I suspect the usual whitewash, now a decade on.

There but for the grace of God go I.

My thanks are due to this noble woman, her police-officer father (her father was a police officer), and an American forensicist, who took them on, and stopped them, though incredibly, some of them are still there.

Rockter.

xort :

It goes deeper than that. They fitted up that young guy for murder, then tried to fit up the young police officer that would not perjure herself to get them off the hook, or appear to get them off the hook.

A murderer is still out there, probably still killing.

To these scumbag prosecutors, it matters not that they get 'their' man, just that they get a man. Any man will do, so long as somebody goes to jail.

sailwm is on a distinguished road
ample 3 step regulator

I have an Ample 3 step regulator, for which I cannot find the set up instructions
There are two potentiometers that need to be adjusted upon the installation of a new alternator. The system worked very well with my Perkins engine but since I re-powered it to a Yanmar which came with a stock Hitachi alternator I have not been able to use it. I have since replaced the alternator with a 75 amp Balmar alternator and need to adjust the two potentiometers. Can you tell me which and how to adjust them. I remember reading one of your comments regarding the fact that you had a similar system.
Thanks,
Mark Knaus

Whoa! Nice job tarring us prosecutors with the same brush! Let's put it in perspective. I don't know what your occupation is, but, we've all seen some dirtbag stockbrokers, and we've all seen some dirtbag drug-dealing physicians, and some dirtbag child-molesting ministers, and some dirtbag thieving defense lawyers, and some dirtbag fraudulent furnace repairmen, etc. ( please insert your own occupation or profession after "dirtbag") I don't know any occupation or profession that doesn't harbor it's share of dirtbags, because the people who engage in those occupations or professions are human beings, and human beings have human frailties. It's inevitable that a few of them will be "sinners." Like most people, I have read about a very few real (not fictional) prosecutors who have abused their offices, but I haven't personally known even one.

The great majority of prosecutors understand that their role is not to convict the innocent, but to see that justice is done while convicting only the guilty. If one prosecutor in Podunk, Iowa abuses his office, let's talk about him, but let's not trash the overwhelming majority of good public servants with intemperate, inflammatory and wholly unfounded accusations.
