Sway, My take on this is with Newspapers failing the Lawyers are trying to find ways to expose the assets of the Internet providers because that is where money is. It is in their best interest. I think it has little to do with making society a gentler, kinder place.

well the funniest side effect of the internet i have ever seen, was the US post office trying to say they where loosing something like 30 % of their income because of email. they got some friendly representative to put out an amendment to a fed bill that would have taxed received emails ( yes received because the spammer would revolt if they had to pay ) at a rate of 5 cents an email. at the time it would have doubled how much money the post office got a year. once it made public news the out cry shut it down in one day, and it was only in the news for one day

Sway, An attempt to fit me with a muzzle happened just within the last hour. It only lasted a minute or so.

My cynicism has been reinforced.

the only time they want a muzzle is when someone is calling them out or telling the truth. I say first we make left wing rag liars like the very one mentioned accountable for the lies they print every day.....print the facts not your opinion on them.
