Damned facist should have let the south secede, which was their legal right. And both of the resulting nations would have been very different places. Bubba was a huckster, no more no less, and what Congress did during his term in office had nothing to do with what Bubba himself did.
Lincoln, on the other hand, was a PRESIDENT and substantially personally responsible for that war being declared. If Lincoln had minded his business, Bubba and LBJ before him would have been elected President of the CSA and CSA only, at best. And Reagan...Would have been another reason to celebrate the continued health of the Bear Republic.

I rather doubt that anyone seriously wants to impeach Obama. If, for no other reason we'd be stuck with Biden. And since Bambi's only fault, aside from being a gross hypocrite, is incompetence, there are no grounds anyway.
I would posit that the title of this thread is more in keeping with a desire to keep him from putting us any futher into the hole than we already are. Though only 6 weeks into his term, he has already shown, by his priorities, that it is his political agenda that takes precedence over the state of the economy. The economic situation, as they have expressed, is an "opportunity" to pass spending and social legislation that would be DOA during good economic times. The longer the downturn lasts, the more they can push through.

Let's face it Obama *can't* be impeached. Impeachment requires votes in Congress, and as even the Nooze has noticed, when the Executive and Legislative branches are both run by THE SAME PARTY, there are limits to how well the "checks and balances" will work.
He'd have to totally alienate his own party before the topic could even be raised.
