Oh yeah, I'm serious, unions are a cancer. Unionized companies can't compete, can't produce, and it's localized communism. In a free market, global economy a unionize company with a collective barginning agreement is headed for bankruptcy.
Unions can exist in government simply because nobody cares, there's no competition, and there's no competition.

Unionized workers can compete with non-union workers, it just depends on how much the union workers are paid for the work they do. The one thing that is really good about unions from the perspective of a non-union worker is, unions wages set a bench mark against what non-union workers can charge. If there were no unions to compare wages against, non-union workers would really be making crappy wages.

I guess you don't follow the news to much. Did you know that Toyota is working out a deal with the Japanese government for a big loan to float the company through these bad times? Have you not heard that all foreign car makers sales are way down? Could these bad sales figures be caused by the same mismanagement problems that have been blamed on the American Car makers?

They might be dying in the private sector, but they're alive and well in the public sector. Somehow the civil servants have become the masters...lol
