Tell you what, though.....
I have to give credit where it is due.
In two states I have recently lived in - NJ and Mass, they have done a really nice job with the DMV (RMV up here).
Every time I have went, I have gotten what I need in a short time......or, of course, found out what I was missing. I can also do 99% of it online....just renewed my DL for 4 years that way.
I also run a couple businesses and once had to call Boston to actually ask a question about tax forms and other tax matters. It took me less than 5 minutes to get a real expert on the phone who either answered my questions...or told me what was in their realm and what was not.
NJ......well, Trenton is another story. You will not get good results by calling there. But I am pleased to report that much of our state government here actually works.....a surprise, for sure.
Have to give credit where it is due......also, my yearly Ma. auto inspections are also really easy - no appointment needed and takes about 10 minutes.
One question, though, about the government car warranty. Will they call my wife "honey"? One dodge dealer did that and she walked right out on him.
:-)
Also, isn't Saab part of GM? Will Saab dealers still be allowed to wear penny loafers under the new plan?
