Did you read the report? The first line says "The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific information that domestic rightwing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence."
In January, the same DHS office released a report titled "Leftwing extremists likely to increase use of cyber attacks over the coming decade."
Now that is balanced reporting.
BTW - when did the DHS become a home to Liberals?

so it implies those who are against same sex marriage, abortion, gun control etc you are a right wing extremist, at least thats how i read it. its trying to demonize the conservative side by naming conservative beliefs and saying they are the same as right wing extremists

gotta admit, this administation has good reason to be concerned, even those who voted for this new experiment are having serious second thoughts, and when you have active military calling talk shows to discuss the oath they took to protect the constitution against all threats foreign & domestic and feel that there is a domestic threat ???.........somethngs wrong

Evidently no one notices the irony in telling a bunch of paranoid wackos they really have a reason to be paranoid.
The fact that there is nothing in the report that anyone who follows current events wouldn't already be aware of, gives it the appearance of being based on political bias, rater than actual intelligence (in the info gathering sense). Shoot, I could have told them the same thing (at half the cost), though I wouldn't have tried to equate the 90's with now, since the only real similarities are a Dem administration and Congress. All the report really accomplishes is give the wacko's more fuel to throw on the fire. Which doesn't strike me as very wise.

Maybe it will allow you to have compassion and see how we progressives have been treated since the 50's. Look it up, friend. We were (and still were, as of the Bush years) put on lists for anti-war activities and peace demonstrations.
Let me repeat that. We were (and are still) put on lists for attending demonstrations which attempt to stop madness like our attacking of Iraq, etc.......
I'm sure you have been weeping for all of those 40 years about everyones else's "rights"....so please cry me a river that some nut jobs are being put on a list....
