NC Senator makes personal run on the bank....

You gotta admit this is funny.......
The US Senator from NC......when he heard from Paulson in DC last September after the economy tanked, called his wife - and according to him, said this:

"“On Friday night, I called my wife and I said, ‘Brooke, I am not coming home this weekend. I will call you on Monday. Tonight, I want you to go to the ATM machine, and I want you to draw out everything it will let you take,” Burr said, according to the Hendersonville Times-News. “And I want you to tomorrow, and I want you to go Sunday.’
I was convinced on Friday night that if you put a plastic card in an ATM machine the last thing you were going to get was cash.”

This, folks, is the Senator from N. Carolina. He doesn't know that you can actually walk into the bank and withdraw MUCH more money than you can through an ATM. He also failed to say anything to the residents he represents, while telling his own wife to "run" on the bank....

If that wasn't bad enough, he told this story during a speech. No one would have known otherwise.

I award him the Congressional Medal of Stupidity for the Day.....
