To most Canadians (as well as people in most of the rest of the non-US of A world) the date 9/11 is the 9th of November, so if people from Canada had organized the attack, it would have been a couple of months later.

Seriously, in much of the world outside the US of A, when the date of the attack is abbreviated, it reads as 11-09-01, 11/09/01, 11-09, 11/09, 11/9. When it is written as 9/11, it refers to a date in November, and many initially wonder what is being commemorated on 09 Nov.

Stupid propaganda to make up a reason to secure the border for people going out (not in), make us have some new ID that we have to carry and make us get used to airport style security to cross the border.

The best thing about the requirement for American citizens having a passport to leave the country is my Mother in Law is American and dosent have a passport. Consequently I live in a MOther in law free zone.

Could be but more likely she is like the 70% or so of Americans who simply dont have passports because they dont travel outside of the US.

... and a significant portion of those don't think there is anything worth seeing outside the US of A. Some even think that Canada is nothing but igloos and huge machines that send the arctic air masses down on them.

I have seven wind machines we use for crop protection in the spring every winter I point them south and turn them on just to help those frozen air masses go south and I find my igloo quite comfy eh.

Dude, you're in Mississippi. Why is it that people in your part of the world are more worried about this than those of us up near and on the border? Good god, we cruise and race together peacefully up here without much thought about the whole thing other than some oddities of PHRF ratings that differ from north to south. Let it go. Both countries are working very hard at keeping folks on both sides of the border safe.

(... and when can we just let the SCA go? I'm all for your independence.)

RAGNAR will become famous soon enough
I say send Palin and O’Donnell up north and make a US state of each of the ten provinces and three territories. (Oil, great food in some parts, skiing and an instant boosting of our hockey prospects!)

Palin and O'Donnell are community jokes up here. Is this a comedy exchange we send you Jim Carey and we get Sarah Palin? As to the US state part we will pass. You have too much debt you cant afford us. We are kind of like a High price lady of the evening we are for sale and if you need to ask the price you simply dont have the coin. Oh and we want gold or Canadian dollars. Might do a trade for Seal flippers
