Hey, you don't have to convince me. I'm libertarian in that sense. Heck, that is part of the pursuit of happiness for many folks.

We're getting there in Ma. - decriminalized. They just had a big party in the Amherst Town Sq. - ExtravaGanja.......hundreds of people all smoking pot, and no trouble - police riding bikes around the outside - maybe looking for dealers, who are still illegal.

It's funny now looking at local craigslists ads which might say:
"Bass Player wanted - and we can smoke a doobie when you come over if you like" (and then it referenced the new law)

We have so many problems in this country now -that all the "made up" problems like the War on Drugs and War on Gay Marriage have taken their rightful positions as non-issues.......

But there is no temperance motion among those involved in the pro-legalization of drug movement. They want to use drugs more, not less. And they want my blessing.

Give me a test that allows law enforcement personnel to check for current usage and maybe we'll talk. You know.. Like a DUI of .08%.

I don't believe that I've ever heard of anyone in the pro legalizing camp advocate driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Is that what you are saying?

"Advocating"? No.
But if you run over my daughter and you have drugs in your system how can I determine whether or not you were under the influence at the time of the accident? You can claim the drugs were used "yesterday".

They all say they are only going to use drugs "in the privacy of their own home". And maybe they will.
Is it going to be up to the user to determine when it is safe to drive? How would he know? There is no test.

Alcohol is different. There is a test and most drinkers know what the legal limit is and so forth.
