I think it will come to light the same as Van Jones did, would help if the MSM wasn't on the take or in bed with the Admin as they are

However, I think it's funny you zoomed in on voter fraud and didn't comment on the more serious connection issue of Obama, Acorn & Congress or the 8.5 billion in stimulus money

At least five ACORN workers are behind bars and law enforcement officials are seeking six others for forging signatures on voter registration applications last year.
The workers were turned in by ACORN, Association of Community Organizations for Refom Now, supervisors in June 2008.
The arrests today in Miami-Dade County include a mother, her son and her daughter, according to Ed Griffith, spokesman for Miami-Dade State Attorney Katharine Fernandez Rundle.
The FBI, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Rundle’s office scoured hundreds of suspicious voter registration applications provided by ACORN. The accused apparently created fake voters who did not exist, signed the forms and handed them in.[/B]

And it is voter registration fraud, not voter fraud; they are two different things.

Pray tell, what is the purpose of registration fraud if not to enable voter fraud? That the White House intends to use their services in the census when they show a long standing pattern of fraudulent registration is something I find rather "fishy".
Current events in Baltimore are the firing of two ACORN employees after caught helping a prostitute and pimp scam the tax code.

They get paid per registration. It is much easier to sit around the house faking registrations than actually going door-to-door.
Now go find me one single case of voter fraud; one in which people actually misrepresent themselves at a the ballot box.
Why would ACORN turn in their own folks? Do not tell me me it is a smoke-screen. That is just delusional paranoia.

Is the US govt not acting in the interest of it's people requiring them to get health care?
Conceptually--whether it is gas masks or health care, the concepts are somewhat the same.

and that should scare you, to give someone else the power to decide what's best for you.

Erps,
Do you have experience and/or training in protecting yourself against biological/chemical/low-grade nuclear attack? Do you know how to make our health care system work so everyone is covered--I sure don't.
If the answer to my question is yes--then g-d bless you. If the answer to my question in no--then how do you know the government doesn't know more than you do to help you?
I am not saying government is the answer. What I am saying is, unless we can do better and we can put forward OUR OWN specific recommendations, then I think all ideas should be on the table and we have an obligation not to dismiss them just because "the govt is evil" or "the govt can't be trusted" or the "republicans are evil" or the "republicans are greedy people."
Instead of putting the blame on one person or entity, I think it behooves the people of the US to present WELL THOUGHT OUT SOLUTIONS--not just reactions based on media and misinformation from both sides.
Most of the people arguing in these posts are referencing media and partisan organizations points of view--not their own. So far the only two people in these forums (other than myself) who have actually suggested to look at the actual proposals and talk about them are CardiacPaul and US27inKS. In fact US27inKS an CardiacPaul are doing this now.
So instead of everyone reacting and relying on what other people say about the proposals let me suggest people take the time to read the actual proposals and form an educated/informed opinion--something I believe, the majority of the (lazy) US Citizenry as yet to do. If people are so passionate about this issue--and they should be, they should take the time to read the documents both all parties (i.e., republican, democrat, etc) are actually proposing.
So, read the actual proposals, give me citations from the actual proposals, tell me what you like and do not like about them and why; and then we can have a productive discussion.
Otherwise--no offense--don't waste my time.

I don't have any experience with an HMO, although I've heard the horror stories.
I was talking about Yam's illustrations on how much latitude we want to give the government to watch out for our best interests. I think we've gone too far already and there are folks who want to relinquish more of their responsibility for making their own decisions. Fine, let the government decide what's best for you, just don't require me to go down the same path. Leave it optional.
