the so called man of transparency is at it again. after saying he defends the constitution, and that he would never use reconcilliation or the nuclear option to get his socialist agendas through, he's gonna do it anyway. God help us all.......

You can actually thank Clinton for deregulating the banking Industry.

The Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999 would do away with restrictions on the integration of banking, insurance and stock trading imposed by the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933, one of the central pillars of Roosevelt's New Deal. Under the old law, banks, brokerages and insurance companies were effectively barred from entering each others' industries, and investment banking and commercial banking were separated.
It's why we are in the mess we are in.

Even the people that supported him and voted him into office are asking themselves "what the hell is this guy doing" and members of his own party are abandoning a sinking ship. He has shown that he is neither for the people nor for the USA as we know it.

Certainly.

They are the ones who try to legislate and/or bully others into adopting their own vision of religion and morality, concerning who can marry, whether one can abort a fetus, and the like, despite themselves have higher rates of divorce, child and spousal abuse. And when they don't get their way, one of their dimmer number, who takes everything literally, uses violence, like the murders of gays or abortion doctors attests.

Brown shirt is a simile, not an exact comparison with nazis. Lower class or less educated folk doing the dirty work for the ruling elite, who directs their dissatisfaction towards a variety of scapegoats with jingoistic sloganeering.

This is true, but I believe in 05 G.W. had a chance to reverse this, and didn't. There's more than just the banking mess. I am not siding with left, or right. They are both out of control, and becoming the enemy of the well being of this country
