MIKEMCKEE will become famous soon enough
Thanks So Much!!

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars plus additional expenses for my vacation in Spain . My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel. We only
booked 70 rooms for our friends, staff and family. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.

Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. It costs only $11,500 per hour to operate Air Force 2 and each additional plane for the other members of our party group. These are only rough estimates, but they are close (who's counting?). That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would
say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days. Will write more from Martha's Vineyard where we will spend our sixth vacation this year with more of our family and friends.

Cordially,

M. Obama

Ms Obama, my granddaughter says no worries, soon you'll be immaterial and would have sacrficed her future sooner had you promised to take the whole family and stayed there.

No, it's the realization that are hard earned money is going down the tubes faster than we can count it. How many vacations does the Obams's need with everyone in the USA watching every penny they spend.

Purpose

This may not be the place to post this, perhaps a new thread might be better but...

I don't want to start another "left vs right" thread, after all, all that does is to heat up each side and starts an argument. Neither side is probably going to change their mind anyway. I would like a more limited discussion not another mindless argument about left vs right.

My personal feeling is that Obama and his circle of friends are the greatest threat to the US that we have seen since the Cold War. That is my opinion and frankly you are wasting your time if you want to argue with it. I'm not going to get into an argument about it.

What I would like to discuss is Obama himself and not his policies.

I do think he's intelligent yet he seems to have a knack for self destruction. Every time he turns around, he says things to alienate himself and his policies from the majority of the public (check his poll numbers).

My question is why is he doing this? Is he just not up to the job, being inexperienced? Does he want to foster division and angst on purpose to create a crisis? (from the pages of the 1960's) Is he so focussed on his push to "fundamentally change the US" that he doesn't see what he is doing to his own party? Did he misjudge how far the Progressives had taken us? Did he think he could be the one to push us over the edge and become the socialist country that he and his friends from the 60's wanted? You can see how angry he gets when confronted, is he just a megalomaniac?

What do my fellow right wing "wackos" think?

I think this has a lot to do with it and the left had to know this, so, the subquestion is, why ?. I think the answer is in your next question quoted below

Quote:

No, he knows exactly what he's doing

No, I think he feels that progressive adenda hasn't progressed far enoughin the last 65yrs

Yes and yes

It isn't just the right, even the left is having remorse( some 20% of those who voted for him, per the polls )
