Romney on anthropogenic climate change...

Well, whadaya-know? Mitt actually agrees with scientists about a scientific question:

"I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that," he told a crowd of about 200 at a town hall meeting in Manchester, New Hampshire.
It's important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors."

Of course, the Tea-baggers will try to crucify him (pun intended) for taking such a reasoned stance, which may well mean that his hopes of getting the GOP nomination just went down the tubes. Their scientific literacy is more in line with that of Michele ("I'll just lie, call it science, and make up stats to support me") Bachmann.

Let's see. Romney is a Mormon (Bible Belt issue), he put together a state-funded healthcare plan (there goes the Republican narrtive), and he believes in AGW (say good-bye to the Tea Party). Personally, I think (for a Republican) he isn't bad... but that is exactly why he'll lose the primary.

Primaries are where you convince the nutters of a party you are as rabidly right/left wing as they are... only to go into the general election to convince everyone else you are a safe middle-of-the-road candidate.

Shame that a huge percentage of scientists don't believe that the case for MMGW has been made. That's in addition to the fact that even if MMGW is ever established, that proof won't validate anything like what the Greens want to enact through government compulsion. (If me burning oil 25/8 doesn't violate the Rights of anyone living, and it doesn't, the government of a free nation has nothing to say about it. (As the Left is fond of saying on another issue, the unborn don't have rights.))

BS - partially correct

I really don't have a position either way about his religion, but the other two items do limit his attractiveness to most intelligent people.

The very fact he brought it up, questions his sanity.

Here's a list of companies that can't analyze an issue and/or don't mind making a buck off of an unfounded idea that has led to paranoia and has/will stall civilization:

mdbee,

You might note that BentSailor didn't knock Mormonism (or the LDS), he only pointed out that being a Mormon is an issue in the Bible Belt; a very different observation. In fact, BentSailor stated, "Personally, I think (for a Republican) he isn't bad..." Perhaps, given your interpretation of Bent's post, it is your sanity we should question (or at least your ability to comprehend written english).
