My initial take is that suicides are not caused by politicians and their lame policies. They are caused by people that are taking what they believe to be their only way out of a tough situation, and they are making the wrong decision. An imbalanced person that is incapable of making rational decision.

If the policy makers were to blame, then I think we would all want to kill ourselves.

Do you suppose that greater availablitity of psychtropic drugs, even seemingly harmless ones, increases or decreases the incidence of suicide on a given population??

Absolutely. That, along with the irrational dispensing of the drugs by an irrational psychiatric community, probably contributes. But then we would have to get into a discussion of the big pharma/government connections to talk about that.

As a mother, or father, how can this not touch your heart? This mother lost her son to suicide because of the lies about cannabis through the office of the US Drug Czar which is mandated by law to lie.
