from the same folks who brought you "it's ok to be gay". now it seems we have to cater to the whims of pedophiles. now we need to call them "minor-attracted people". how nice. they need to be called "worm bait". this is the reason i tend to stereotype folks with their fancy phd's and such as not really being that smart. the only good pedophile is a pulseless one.......

38 individuals out of the thousands of shrinks in the States?? They probably ARE child molesters trying to get some legitimacy to stick to their perversion.

This is laughable - the DSM will never be changed in this fashion. Pedophilia is incurable - that is well known. It is no more curable that sociopathy or breathing. Pedophiles don't see what they do as wrong, they regard it as "love" so how do you cure them?

How about those "Predator" reality shows? If they are real kiddy rapists, as portrayed and not just TV bull$hit, they should be taken outside and shot on the spot - there is NO question of their guilt to be decided and NO possibility of rehabilitation. Spend the time, money and effort on their victims.

I'm going to say this once, so that we're nice and clear. Members of my immediate and extended family are gay. They hurt no-one, their partners are willing & able to form consent for the actions they participate in consensually, and there is nothing wrong with them.

Equate my family with pedophiles again and I'm not going to be as reserved in my opinion.As bljones said, there is a choice in being an a$$hole.

mine too. i don't hate them, nor do i shun them. they are part of my family and i treat them as such. doesn't mean i have to approve of their lifestyle.....

i'm sure you don't have to go but to a mirror to see an a$$hole. ya don't know what a coin truly is 'til ya see both sides. you ain't right all the time, oh wise one down under....
