See, for me to believe that, I'd have to believe the guy cared about other people's opinion of him. I've seen way too many trolls act almost exactly like the guy to believe he isn't in it for the attention. He sure as hell didn't seem to be here for the sailing threads!

I watched him spin so many subjects that Rags spinning his hissy-fit would not only be unsurprising but actually expected.

Rags had already stated his intention to depart this hotbed of radical lefties who failed to appreciate his point of view, nor idolised his beloved St Ayn of Rand. His parting shot was a cry for martydom which was duly accomodated though he may rise from the ashes come the passing of thirty days.

Most bans, btw, are temporary if you ignore the blatant spammers. Even the most egregious of sinners are unlikely to get life without remission unless they try really hard. Deliberate use of multiple user names (sock puppetry) and trolling are typical mortal sins. (Refer CCP v Rodent for a legendary example )

Of the "normal" users who have been banned, simple failure to STFU has generally been there undoing. Reality is no one gets banned without repeated warnings, we are not as anal as Cruisers Forum , not as loose as Anarchy. Its a good mix imho.
