I didn't see any kind of increase for the last 6 years I worked and I haven't seen one since. Inflation is so low that COLA's are pretty well extinct.

You say you were a 20 year vet - what did you do for the first 20 years of your working life? I'm assuming you joined up at age 40 or 45 if you're retired now?

1) OK. I'd settle for a link that supports the assertion that help for Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless or etcetera have been reduced or eliminated.

2) I've worked in the private sector for 30 years and there is no such thing as a COLA!!

You seem like a nice enough guy and I empathize with some of your positions. But the way you come across isn't helping.
