You've got me all wrong, Bent. I don't hate Libs. I just see things differently than they do. If you'll re-read my post, you'll see that I didn't say I was disgusted with the hate that is expressed by Libs for conservatives. What I said was:

I got so disgusted with the incessant drumbeat of hate that I hear in these threads that I decided to stick to discussions of actual sailing for awhile, in the hope that folks would get some of it out of their systems. Perhaps that was unrealistic.

That comment was non-partisan. If I meant it to apply only to Libs, I would have used the word "Libs" instead of "folks."

Didn't say you did. To "dish out" disgust at someone is far from "hating" someone. Same goes in the opposite direction - I don't hate conservatives (in general or here), sharing at least some of their ideals.

Disgust for Some != Disgust for All

S'funny, I was thinking the same thing, from a conservative perspective. I think it has to do with the way you filter someone else's words. Dunno if it's intentional. Probably not, at least for me. I'm pretty sure you do it on purpose.

Intentionally or not, it seems you were projecting an opinion onto my posts that is not present in the actual words used. Strange, I know, but given your claims as to what I misunderstood and what I actually said, it's hard to reach another conclusion.

I'm pretty sure you do it on purpose.
