Really? I thought it showed just how far the US has fallen personally. Not only has the US President taken actions widely viewed as war-crimes, but the fear / respect the US used to command is patently gone. A person who held the office of US President, arguably the most powerful political position in the world, now commands no more leeway than those minor power-brokers who order genocide as leader of tiny European nations.

Funny how people like to think Europe has somehow "fallen" when it is successfully standing up for what it believes in against the US

Boy it sure is a quiet news day! Guess the media is back to Celebrity "News"?

Alec Baldwin gets kicked off a plane and a Model runs into one!!!

Herman Cain slept nicely for once...

Had he used the US military to crush the Democrats and ordered the justice department to prosecute rape victims for sex out of wedlock, then he would have been welcome to stash half the US treasury in EU banks and Swiss chalets. Or he could have raped a child and been welcomed into polite European society.

If we were picking teams right now, I'd take Dan.

You can have the effete Eurotrash "news" you admire so much.

I'm not prepared to defend the others in the Republican field, but Romney, Huntsman and Gingrich are far from mental midgets or a "clown brigade!!"

Meh, they're all CLOWNS... But I think the Repubs have the limelight for now... I love how they all try to sound different. The only one that truly stands out for me is Mr. Paul. But he has his own problems...

Romney is a cypher, Huntsman, the little bit I've seen of him, seemed quite solid and reasonable, obviously too much so for the WRW since he appears to be out of it now and Gingrich is an unredeemed scumbag.

Yep, you've cast your lot with histories winning side, fershur.

FINALLY, a criminally corrupt pol gets some serious time. Maybe it will start a trend.

Can anyone explain Illinois political corruption to me? Daley and the machine for decades in Chicago, this guy, judges - it seems particularly virulent in that state. Did it all grow out of Capone and just become accepted?

Anybody have a convincing explanation?

???????????????????? WTF??????????????????????

Are you now saying you regard the O as corrupt?

That's getting pretty wacky even for a card carrying member of the WRW.

Weak, ineffective, too far left for you, I can understand but corrupt? where does that come from?

Have you been PM'ing Ragnar or something?
