It is curious why Obama has taken a different stance on Iran and Syria, as opposed to the other countries that experienced the "Arab Spring," where he promoted political change.

The Arab spring Obama style hope and change is working out real well for Egypt isn't it. Especially their women.

And when Obama is President of Egypt, I reckon you can blame him for it. It's comments like that which make me laugh out loud when conservatives go on about "Bush Derangement Syndrome"

You guys can sit in your comfortable, safe homes in a freedom-loving nation, while enjoying a warm fire, a good beer and reading the latest musings of Michael Moore, while demeaning President Bush. Those folks are the ones dodging bullets, and they know who led them to freedom, and they won't forget it.

The Republican National Committee is missing a good thing if they don't organize that enthusiastic group into the Syrian branch of the Young Republican's Club, or perhaps the Syrian Tea Party.

Hmm.. conspiracy theory anyone?

The countries that experienced "Arab Spring" were the most "stable" (a subjective term). Iran and Syria, the most able to initiate / promote conflict in the Middle East, were spared.

i imagine the George W will be pleased to find supporters ... anywhere he can find them. It is remarkable that a young, vigorous ex-Pres, less than four years out of office has basically dropped off the face of the earth. No one seeks his endorement (the kiss of death I would imagine) or wants his comments on current issues or happenings. It is like he never existed. Jimmy Carter, also not a very succesful pres by most measures, is quite ancient but is still seen and heard. BTW, Carter is very popular in Panama - you see his picture all over.

As for Arab Spring, remaking a country takes time. Seems to me that the American Revolution lasted more than a few months until everything was sorted out. Lets give it a few years before we make any judgements.

Go on then, try to find a statement of mine blaming Bush for an uprising in another country. Prove that double standard rather than just pretending your word on the matter somehow makes them true.
