It is interesting how effective comedy (Simpsons, Muppets, Stewart, Colbert, SNL (with Palin) has been at pointing out the absurdities that exist in the far right wing. They are much more successful than either serious pundits or the right wing's political opponents who seem to feel that they have treat to absurd ideas seriously (e.g. predictions about the end of the world or ramblings by people like Cain and Trump who are clearly beyond their depth in presidential politics.

On the flip side, the more serious commentators do a better job of challenging the left, while right wing humor and satire (oxymoron alert!) seems not to even exist.

Not true- Ben Affleck did a spot-on bit parodying olbermann on SNL, and someone did Maddow as well. From what I read, KO was less than impressed. "resign, sir!"

I doubt Google AOL and Yahoo made sure that was a top feature on their pages.

Yeah, because I see SNL clips at the top of Google all the time. I mean, I'm looking up the class API of the iPhone media player and BOOM, another SNL clip is just inserted into my results!

Seriously, you're blaming a search engine for the fact that more people view the parodies of the right-wing than the left (therefore pushing the videos to the top of a search)? How dare they not ignore what people are choosing to view and put up videos of something to satisfy your political urges

For what it's worth, when the Muppets are allowed to be more "adult oriented", they are pretty damned good with the satire. Can't really blame them for the fact they are in movies/shows designed for children who couldn't give a damn about politics. Hell, if they were making the same amount of political jokes in the Muppets as the Simpsons - I'd actually be annoyed.
