Do we really want to compare what Obama has done in 3 to Bush's 8 year term?

He claims the food stamp president increased food stamp spending by 19 Billion.
Bush increased food stamp spending by 19 Billion in 8 years. Obama increased food stamp spending by 21 Billion in 3 years. If you want to compare apples to apples, in Bush's first 3 years food stamp spending increased 3 Billion. If we extrapolate Obama's food stamp increases for 2 terms it will be an increase of almost 56 Billion.

He claims the food stamp president increased the number of people on food stamps by 11 million
Bush increased food stamp participants by 11 million in 8 years. Obama increased food stamp participants 11 million in 3 years. If we let him go for a full 8 at his current pace he will add 30 million to the food stamp rolls, a 100% increase.

The food stamp president increased the amount per participant by $27.38
And Obama is on pace for nearly the same, if you don't count the $23 increase from 08 to 09. I don't really know who gets credit for that, but since the rocket scientist in the video didn't pin it on Bush, I have to assume it belongs to Obama.


The real food stamp president is still in office, and if he gets re-elected he'll set some real records.

Obama's only culpability in this matter is the guy won the 2008 election.

Since he won, your buddies in Congress instituted their "no wins for Obama" strategy, insuring no help for a disappearing middle class. Incidentally, their polling today shows that their policy failed. Just look at Republican poll numbers. They screwed up. They're busy right now, trying to pass some stuff before the elections. I personally think it's too late for them.

No wins for Obama? The only way Obama could lose for the first two years was for the Democrats to oppose him. I guess he didn't win with the stimulus plan to keep us below 8% unemployment. I guess he also didn't win with Obamacare.

Obama has presided over the slowest recovery in history, or is that Bush's fault too?
