I have even found a Pizzeria making whole wheat pizza, its very good, better than regular pie. But alas its soon to be 50 miles away from me. Trader Joes sells whole wheat pizza dough, does anyone know if this can be made into biscuits.
Ok. So I'm not a doctor, but...
I think you would benefit by talking with a nutritionist and learning how to navigate restaurant menus and grocery store isles to find healthy food choices. But be forewarned there will be precious little prepared/processed food that meet healthy food standards. You will find yourself avoiding almost completely the inner isles of grocery stores and never setting foot inside big box restaurants.
Why buy prepared pizza dough, or any such product at a grocery store? There are ways to make your own from scratch and do so in a work-a-day schedule. Just think, you made the dough, grated the cheese, cooked the tomato sauce and selected the "additions". You will be amazed how much better you will feel after eating such a pizza - no bloating, no unquenchable thirst, no heartburn.
And, while I'm on my soapbox look for locally owned/chef operated restaurants that take pride in serving healthy food.
Ok, no more preaching
John
And biscuits? My gosh they have to be the original healthy fast food. Substitute white whole wheat in the above recipe and you can have your biscuits in about 30 minutes.
