Well, it's quitting time.

Need some good recipes for drinks. We always ask other cruisers we meet. We have come across some dandys over the years... verging on great to undrinkable.

Rules: No beer allowed. Does not stow well. Has to be accessible in "foreighn ports of call"...

My newest personal favorite: Appletini. All you need is two alcohols. 1 part DeKuypers Sour Apple Liqouer (green), and one part vodka. Shaken, not stirred, please.... Ice cold and awesome with a sunset. Incidentally parents and grandparents, it looks a whole lot like Green KoolAid so you can get away with it in front of the kids!! (No, I am not implying giving it to them, but fixing Kool AId for them)

Other thoughts??????? Come on, some good ones.

Ice?? Isn't that a mixed drink?

One bottle of Gosling's Rum, one glass or mug to sip it from.

Mixed drinks are why the good lord invented bars and bartenders, don't take their work away.

If cruising the Carribean, try the traditional Ti' Punch

Quality Rum, Lime Juice, Cane Sugar (syrup); Amounts are to your taste.

Apple Pie
˝ gal Apple cider
1cup vodka
1 cup bourbon (your Favorite)
One or two cinnamon sticks
Remove two cups and a sip or two of cider from the jug
Replace with the vodka and bourbon add the cinnamon sticks
Place out of sight for a week or so till the cinnamon sticks dissolve

Be careful at consumption time: this will taste like cinnamon flavored apple cider but have the same effect as Wild Turkey

Have fun
Ken.

Pusser's Painkiller is pretty good if you're looking for something fruity:

2 ounces Pusser's rum (95 proof)
4 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice
1 ounce orange juice
1 ounce coconut cream
