I have the spiderCo multi hone set, and then a slap on a leather belt, good to go. I like the serrated knves for daily usage, and a nice henkle for fillets, the hatchet is a estwing and currently slugs beach fire wood onchilly nights.
I never considered it as a rope/line killer, but good point, may need to find a new location instead of the bottom of the locker.
