Dark and stormy

Since being here in the US(CA) I have not been able to find a good Ginger beer for my favourite drink, a dark and stormy. The closest has been **** and Bull (?) Ginger beer back home is a cloudy very light brown to cream colour.
What do you recommend?

Barritts Ginger Beer, accept no substitutes - they're just ginger ale.

Hey Simon, BevMo has some Aussie Ginger beer, the **** and bull is only good with vodka. After our discussion I tried a Dark and Stormy, now my daughter and I fight for the ginger beer in the fridge, she drinks it like soda and of course dark rum in mine.

Barrits is good, and the choice it seems in these parts.

Now if they only made it without sugar it might take the place of my coke zero..

Chuckles -- Barritt's makes a sugar-free one but don't export it. I checked with them once on getting some cases shipped to BWI and the cost was breath-taking. It's a ton of carbs, but tastes oh so good.

Although not normally a mixed drink kinda guy, I might find a spot for anything with ginger beer...My question is: What is in a 'Dark and Stormy'?
