No Omatako - that's the beauty of booze, man! Where I see just one dollar - GregS sees three!

Tonight I'm going to get totally hammered. Bought a 26er of Rum and a case of beer, and I'm going to drink it until I pass out.

Can't wait to get off work and start drink'n.

Rum Rum What can I say. Whats the sailing life without rum. Kinda like the Kentucky Derby without Mint Julips. However, I also aviod the marketing hype of many of the "brand names" and am perfectly hap[py with my standby (always at least a case on my boat). It comes in Liter bottles, made in Puerto Rico, and is under $10.00 a bottle. I like the "gold" version as well as Cruzin or Capt. Morgan. Also, on my boat ya drink it straight on ice or not at all. Sorry, no coke here ...... LOL.

post#68 Uspritate I hate to tell you but alchaol is a by product of the yest organism that is why you wake up feeling like s*** the next day.

But that doesn't stop us. My favorite is Cruzin single malt ice only or cruzin black stap. We do it for the flavor.

At the Elbow Beach Hotel in Bermuda they have a rum and cigar bar. The menu is in a cedar cover used to light the cigars. They have a rum that some people buy. A Havana Club Reserve at $ 300 per shot. Yes, $300 per oz. Actually I can buy a lot of Myers for $300. These same people buy Screaming Eagle wine for $5000 per bottle. I have a bridge for sale.....
