Re: Rum enjoyment

Ok some threads just deserve to live forever.

As I am sat here watching the VOR and pouring myself a glass of my beloved Angostura I was reminded of this thread that beckoned me from a bygone era.

Hear, hear! You definitely made me an Angostura fan, Chall.

I'm off to the boat to sail the weekend away with the family (while praying Puma wins this one).

Later peeps! I'm goin' sailin'!

Er...What's your point?

Rum and OJ is a much better choice for a breakfast beverage than a mimosa.

Re: Rum enjoyment

Love this thread!
  • Everyday mixing rum - Bacardi select.
  • Everyday sipping rum - Appleton Reserve
  • Special occasion rum - Appleton 21 Year Old
  • Private stock - Havana Club Dark - Cuban label. Sipped with whiskey stones, or one finger mixed with the fresh squeezed juice of a blood orange. Oh God is that good.

Oh I really need some rum after reading this thread!!!

*edit - I forgot the rum for the girls! I always keep Malibu Coconut rum on hand for the Admiral and her friends.

Lets say Cruzan doesn't stand up to Appleton's very well, IMHO.
