Hey Tom, I have a ton of experience with led grow lights and is highly beneficial to all other grow lighting systems. The spectrum of light generated by an LED grow light is way brighter and fine-tuned to the specific needs of plants than other kinds of bulbs available. The LED spectrum of light is in the proper spectrum of light that the LED creates is in the proper spectrum for all phases of plant development which means you wont have to replace your bulbs throughout the lifespan of your plant. You also will not have to maintain your plants as often as you would with other types of systems which will save you time. Another benefit is that led grow lights consume less electricity which will save you a ton of money.

Thanks, Steve, for the information.

I can't help but note that you have an advertisement in your signature line that points to your site. This does make your information a bit suspect, since you obviously have a dog in this race.

Well, you did ask if anybody had experience. I DO have experience with LED grow lights and I thought I would share it with you. I never once said to click on the link, I have experience with LED grow lights and the reason why it is in my sig is because that is what I specialize in as a person so of course it would be part of my sig. The LED Lights on that site is from [edit] ----probably the most high quality grow light on the market----google it if you want. I just thought I would share my experience with you like you have asked but because you have such a problem with my sig, I just wont include it in this post. Have a nice day

This site is supported by paying advertisers, so we can't allow folks to advertise for free in the forums. Consequently, we've removed your signature line. Feel free to help out on this subject matter where you can, but please keep in mind our terms of service, and that we ask folks to keep the discourse civil.

Thanks, John. Kinda weird to see someone that just joined today and happened to post on a thread here that he has a financial interest in. I consider that to be dishonest at best.

Tom, I understand your concerns but the information I provided you was nothing but dishonest. I was truley trying to give you the information you had asked for as I consider myself an expert. If you think I am being dishonest, go ahead and search the manufactures review rating and how well respected they are. I have to admit I never did read the terms and conditions for this fourm and in no way intended to break any forum rules. Have a great day everybody

Steve

Also, when your looking for expert opnions, much expert opinions will be comming from the people that are closest to the product. If anybody that sells anything wanted to make any money, they would have to be an expert in what they are selling.

Sprouts don't need extra grow light - they do fine below. Herbs do need a lot of light. Some do pots better than others. Basil, parsley, and cilantro are in pots outside and get stowed in the shower when we sail.
