fishing...
 
does anyone know of any books..charts...or other source of information about what fish are you should not try to eat..or what can and cant be eaten from the oceans...kelp?? crabs? lobster? any fish..any help would be preciated...want to try and truely live "off the land" if possiblle.. thanks in advance

The Clear things bobbing everywhere are called "water bottles" and you can't eat them.
Pretty much all finned fish can be eaten. Taste varies. Maine Lobsters require a licence. Cheaper to buy them.Crab and Shrimp traps work well enough here in floridah and you can dive for lobster(crayfish).

thanks...diving is in the long term plans...trying to find ways to be as self sufficent as possible out there
