Re: Ketch racing - Any good books?

We have an alerion express yawl 38 that races phrf in Bristol ri. The boat does very well overall in non- spinnaker. As a yawl with a base rating of 129 it is great in comparison to it sister fractional rigs At 111 with about 100ft less sail area and same hull form. Beautiful boat, classic above the water and speed below. Schumacher got it right if your going to sail a yawl.

Re: Ketch racing - Any good books?

If you can find books or articles on the mid/late 80s Whitbread round the world races there was a phase where large ketches were used for that event.. I'd expect there's some info there.
